Trump’s Latest Twitter Meltdown Has Impeachment Written All Over It [Tweets]

At the moment, the president is dangerously unhinged – not that he wasn’t before – more so than at any prior point in his presidency.  Last week, the FBI raid of his attorney, Michael Cohen, along with statements made by former FBI Director James Comey ruffled Trump’s feathers.  Then he faced the brutal realization that more Americans trust James Comey than the supposed leader of the free world.

Trump responded to Comey’s new book, A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership, and the unfavorable poll by blasting Comey in a series of belligerent tweets that have since spurred an uproar on Twitter.

Trump opened:

“Unbelievably, James Comey states that Polls, where Crooked Hillary was leading, were a factor in the handling (stupidly) of the Clinton Email probe. In other words, he was making decisions based on the fact that he thought she was going to win, and he wanted a job. Slimeball!”

Trump continued:

“The big questions in Comey’s badly reviewed book aren’t answered like, how come he gave up Classified Information (jail), why did he lie to Congress (jail), why did the DNC refuse to give Server to the FBI (why didn’t they TAKE it), why the phony memos, McCabe’s $700,000 & more?”

He also dropped what appears to be perhaps his most blatant lie to date:

“I never asked Comey for Personal Loyalty. I hardly even knew this guy. Just another of his many lies. His “memos” are self serving and FAKE!”

Has Trump degraded American democracy to the point of no return?

What is your reaction?
